Bringing your body back into balance requires more than a band-aid.
We are whole beings; physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual and true healing happens when all of these parts are acknowledged.
My work is grounded in the understanding that symptoms are messengers, not problems to be fixed. By listening deeply to your body and responding with care that addresses the whole of who you are, my sessions create space for lasting change, not just short-term relief.

More than just a name...
Simhananda Healing Arts was chosen with deep intention. I wanted a name that not only reflected who I am and the healing gifts I offer, but also the transformation I help awaken in others.
The word, Simhananda is a spiritually rich term that can be interpreted as "Heart of Bliss," "Blissful Mindfulness," or "Lion’s Bliss" - symbolizing the fearless joy of awakening, the strength of inner stillness, and the profound peace of a heart aligned with truth.
This is the essence of what I hope you’ll experience after working with me: a deep sense of peace, empowerment, and reconnection to your truest self.
My path into Eastern medicine began not in a classroom, but in the heart of motherhood.
In 2006, after several years of unexplained breathing episodes and other unsettling moments that left our family searching for answers, we had exhausted nearly every option conventional medicine had to offer.... yet nothing seemed to help. Out of options and out of hope, I turned toward the world of alternative healing. It was through Reiki and homeopathy, that something shifted. My son’s symptoms began to ease. Within three months, he was off all medication and today, he’s a thriving, healthy young man.

That profound experience opened a door....
But it wasn’t until 2020 that my commitment to Eastern medicine was etched into my own body.
After a routine chiropractic adjustment, I suffered a carotid artery dissection that led to a stroke. Overnight, I lost my ability to walk, see clearly, and care for myself.
My road to recovery was grueling, marked by blood transfusions, invasive procedures, and an unexpected cancer diagnosis. Yet even in the darkest moments, I leaned into the practices that had once healed my son. Acupuncture, Reiki, meditation, and the steady support of my teachers and family carried me through.
With determination and faith, I not only healed, I defied every expectation, including completing my Master’s in Acupuncture at the Won Institute.
My doctors call it extraordinary.
I call it a miracle.

My approach is unique because....

I don't follow a standard formula - I listen
Every session begins by tuning in to what your body is saying, even when words fall short. My approach blends lived experience, compassion, and clinical expertise to support each person in a way that feels safe, personal, and deeply effective.
Healing happens when the mind, body, & spirit are in harmony
Drawing from a wide array of healing modalities, including Acupuncture, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Reiki, Lomi Lomi, Shiatsu, and Deep Tissue massage, I create a space that’s intuitive, nurturing, and tailored to your unique needs. My practice is rooted in the belief that true healing happens when the mind, body, and spirit are in harmony.
