Your body knows how to heal - Acupuncture helps it get there

What can you expect during your session?
Each acupuncture session is designed to meet you exactly where you are. After a short check-in, Amanda gently places fine, sterile needles at specific points to restore energetic flow and balance in the body. While you may feel a slight prick on insertion of the needle, most clients find sessions deeply calming, often entering a state of rest or meditative relaxation.
If you’re completely new to acupuncture and feeling a bit apphrehensive, find out what happens during your sessions.
Simple ways to get the most out of your session
1.
Arrival
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time to settle in before your session. Try to keep your schedule open afterward so you’re not rushing off; giving your body time to integrate the work. Be sure to review the cancellation policy in advance, and come prepared to share your goals or areas of focus for the session.
3.
Share Your Preferences
Whether you prefer silence or conversation, let me know what feels best for you. You're encouraged to share feedback during your session; your comfort and experience are the top priority.
5.
Intentions
Share your intentions and any specific areas of concern. Open communication helps ensure your session is truly supportive.
2.
Intake
New clients will be asked to complete an intake form to share any relevant health conditions or concerns. Your information is always kept private and helps ensure your session is both safe and supportive.
4.
Etiquette
On the day of your session, arrive clean and wear loose, comfortable clothing to support ease of movement and relaxation. Please remove jewelry, as it can interfere with bodywork. Be sure to silence all phones and digital devices before your appointment to help maintain a calm, distraction-free space.
6.
Aftercare
After your session, drink plenty of water to support your body’s natural detoxification and healing process.
7.
Gratuity
Though tipping is not a requirement, it is always appreciated.
